It is completely free to be listed as a tutor on Kalvie! We only take a commission when you get paid for a tutoring session through Kalvie. Basically, we get paid only when you get paid!

Once you are accepted to join Kalvie as a tutor you will need to create a profile. Don’t worry, you will have tools to help you with this. Your profile will be listed on the Kalvie Find a Tutor page where it will be visible to existing students and parents looking for a tutor, as well as new students and tutors. Make sure your profile is clear and meaningful by highlighting your main skills and achievements. Don’t be too wordy.
We also actively advertise Kalvie online in order to attract more students to our site and therefore help you earn more.

Unfortunately, we only offer online tutoring sessions.
This is up to you to decide. We recommend when you first sign up to keep your hourly price low in order to attract more students. Once you have enough students you can slowly start to increase your price.
Make sure to be fair as a student can easily find another tutor. We have built Kalvie to encourage students and tutors being fair to one another.

As many hours as you want, you set your schedule through the calendar tool. All we ask is when you have a confirmed booking that you do not miss it or cancel it. Missing and cancelling sessions hurt your rating.
You will receive an email confirmation automatically when a student books a session with you. Bookings made with more than 24hours notice are automatically confirmed but bookings with less than 24 hours notice are pending until you accept.
